How to post-process panoramas?

At this page https://nctech.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/211784128-Settings I found this:

Note: The RAW file format is an NCTech proprietary 8bit RAW file. It has an ".nctri" file extension and can only be used by specific applications that support this file type. It is not a generic RAW file that can be imported into a Photo editing application such as Adobe Photoshop for post processing.

For my workflow I ALWAYS use Adobe Photoshop. Why it is not possible to use it?
What is the software that pictures could be used?

Complete panoramas are going to be jpg and also RAW-nctech ?

It's not possible to use it in Photoshop because:

  1. It's an 8 bit RAW so you have no advantage over JPEG other than lossless compression
  2. We do not at this time intend to make the .nctri a public format. It may be that at some point we might offer a .dng export.

The complete panoramas will be JPEG
