Micro SD not working

I have just received the Iris360 but are not able to get it to work with any micro SD. Have tried three different type. The latest is SanDisk Extreme Pro 32 GB UHS-1 Class 10.

Whats wrong?

Hi - can you try a couple of things for me:

  1. Try forcing a refresh of your browser
  2. Try a different browser
  3. Try connecting from a different device
  4. Turn off the unit fully, remove and then re-insert the microSD card then turn on the unit

Let me know how that goes.

I am having the same issue and circumstances. Just received the camera tried a few different cards all which all meet the specification. Tried all the steps you mentioned to try and correct. Is this maybe a formatting issue? What is the correct format? Why is there not an option to format from the camera itself? Tony where you able to find a solution in the last 8 days?

OK - that looks like a suitable card. So let's go through a couple of steps:

  1. What device are you using? Have you tried a different device?
  2. What browser are you using? We are finding Chrome is working better than Explorer on mobile devices.
  3. What is the card formatted as? It needs to be FAT32

If all the above fails to resolve the issue for you please raise a Support Ticket and we'll take it from there. I don't think you have an option to upload a picture here so we can do it from the Support Ticket but I'd like to see a photo of the card inserted in the unit, as close up as you can get.

That was the first question I asked: "Is this maybe a formatting issue?"

The solution is "It needs to be fat32 and not exfat" as my nikons use. I think this should be documented better as it was the first thing I looked for in the manual and it was not mentioned anywhere. Thank you for your quick response.

I know that I have to format FAT32, but what size?
8192 KB, 16 KB, 32 or 64 KB

(sorry I am not a PC guy)

I am asking this because my iris360 is not turning blue LEDs and I am trying to put all the alternatives...

Yeah as a pro photo guy and you always only format in camera, if you delete via a computer you really lose everything plus pc like to add their shit. Do the card show up at all? with some or any content?
