Iris 360 - Wi-Fi No Longer Broadcasting After 1st Use.

Hi guys,

I'm having problems with connecting to the built in Wi-Fi network of the Iris 360, I've had the camera just over 2 hours and upon first attempt it connected fine and I changed the Wi-Fi password to something more secure, howeveer the web browser then said the page could not be displayed and now I can't view the Iris 360 network on any of my 3 wireless devices, I've re-booted it about 5 times but when the blue ring appears there's simply no Iris 360 network visible under any of the Wireless networks.

Has anyone else had this problem? I'm really fed up as I had to wait almost 5 months for it to arrive and part with £1,500 and now I can't even connect to it!

Any help would be really appreciated!

Something happened while you were changing the password. It's now got a "null" or empty password which means that when the unit starts it fails to initiate the wifi network.

Please raise a support ticket about this via our Support Portal and I'll send you instructions on how to reset the password back to default. you'll then be able to connect to the unit over wifi again.

I haven't had this issue YET. Quick answer did you try other devices another phone or computer. Just to test to see if there isn't an issue with your device? Also I wonder if their is a factory reset on the device.

Tried on 4 devices so far:

Tablet: (Originally worked, No longer visible)

Smartphone: No Iris Network

Wireless PC: No Iris Network

Second Smartphone: No Iris Network

Not sure what to do, there's nothing I've come across that would suggest a hard reset is possible either, not exactly great for a camera that's only 3 hours old :/

I know with some of my radio triggers static can build up and cause issues. Try removing the batter and charge it, but leave it out of the camera.

I had been having issues with connectivity.First three shots worked well. They were up to see immediatly.Change the tablet, change for a phone, but still having issues. The new issue is that you dewcribed,no connection at all.You can not reach settings and stuff so if you shoot direct from camera, but not sure.Is sad to loose that fresh shot in front of the client, that uploads instantly before his/her eyes.Other options are up to NCTech.
