What kind of tripod do I need for iSTAR?

iSTAR has a ¼" thread base so just about any tripod that has this size of thread will be fine for iSTAR. We have included a pin locator specifically for the Manfrotto  200PL Plate adaptor:

By attaching the plate to the base of iSTAR you can easily and quickly connect to a number of Manfrotto pan/tilt and ball heads.
