Assumptions

For the batch process to perform properly is assumed that at each capture position the iSTAR image is taken after each scan, and that the time difference is at least 1 minute between scanning and imaging time stamps (scanner and iSTAR clocks must be synchronised). Where there is no corresponding iSTAR image found for a particular scan that position will be skipped and further corresponding scans and images will be combined.

For such occurrences where a scans do not have a corresponding iSTAR image a pop up window will appear to notify the user, the user then chooses whether to continue with the remaining batch colourisation, skipping that position, or cancel the whole operation. Individual scans may always be colourised separately by the “Single scan colourisation” function.
