Wifi control - faster please

The current method of connecting to the iStar IP via wifi is ok, but better feedback to the controlling device would be better. What I mean is that the smartphone or tablet does not say that the capture has finished until the image has been 100% written to the SD card (whereas on manual control, the unit of course says when it's ok to move to the next setup).

Perhaps a native app would be the way to go for controlling the unit remotely?
