Hi Christopher,
That's high on our priority list of features we would like to add. In the meantime if you instead stitch using a 3rd party application like AutoPano Giga or PTGUI then you can export to .exr or .hdr
Hi,
I work in VFX for films, and we recently purchased an Istar camera to shoot HDRI's. We use those to light our 3D scenes, and on the website the RAW format is mentioned.
I was surprised to see that the only possible export images, stitched or original files, are all Jpegs. I think it would be great to add a feature to output 32bit images. It is crucial in VFX to have all that range for lighting purposes.
Would it be possible to export the RAW files in .exr or .hdr file format?
Thanks

Hi,
that sounds great. We really believe that this camera could very well establish itself as a good tool for VFX work.
Do you guys have an ETA on when this feature could be added?
Thanks,
Chris
Hi Chris,
No not yet - sorry.
Hi Andrew
I have also been asked about this, for a good client of mine who currently uses third party .hdr files to light their visualisations. They are very interested to see if I can provide this. I am reluctant to buy some third party software if you are going to release this capability soon?
Many thanks
Ashley
Hi Andrew,
Is there an update on the 32bit export format in .exr or .hdr yet?
Hi Fareen,
No sorry - no update yet.
