Ghosting/Blur Effect On People On Images

Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing a blur/ghost effect while capturing with people in the scene? Is this normal? And if so, is there any way to avoid it or fix it somehow? It doesn't exactly look professional when showing the stitched image to clients.

Here's an example:

Thanks.

That's because you have captured using HDR when there were people moving in the scene.

So either ensure you control the scene so that no people are moving in it or shoot with HDR Off.

OK thanks, is there any way to add HDR or substitute it after the image has been captured? While it does reduce the motion blur, the light sources in the scene are far too bright without HDR and produces an unsuitable overall image when eventually stitched.

Many thanks.

Well you could capture with HDR off and use the technique I've posted to the FAQs to use manual exposure to slightly underexpose the image.

Then use something like Photoshop to bring up the shadows without blowing out the highlights any further.

Remember that if you capture with HDR on then you can still have Immersive Studio process it with HDR Off. So that gives you the option to do some processing like I' just described if you find the HDR shot has too much movement in it.

this won't work of course if you are only capturing with Stitched JPEG only as you need the raw file to process in Immersive Studio
