Within this, I'd direct you to this "feature request" where another user has enquired about an offline workflow. As stated by my colleague Andrew in response, this is functionality that we will be providing, but as yet we can't provide a timescale for implementation.
We don't yet have a full technical user manual to provide, but we're working on it right now, and you can find a Quick Start Guide here in the meantime.
